Buck Lake Summer Camp 

Eagles Volleyball Camp at Buck Lake 
 
Last summer, YYC Eagles had the privilege of purchasing Buck Lake Camp with the purpose to create the best possible environment for athletes to train, grow, and build lifelong memories together year after year.

This camp is located on 3.5 acres of beautiful lakeside property, the setting is peaceful and ideal for a high-quality residential volleyball experience. The property also includes a 9-hole mini golf area, outdoor activity spaces, and a large outdoor fireplace that makes the evenings truly special for our athletes.

For indoor training, we rent the gymnasium at Buck Mountain Central School, located just 1.8 km from the hotel. This is where all indoor practices will take place. The school also has a small workout area available if needed.

For daily logistics, we will transport athletes between the hotel and school using rented vans and 8-seater SUVs. Safety and organization are a priority in all transportation planning.

Both the hotel property and the school provide access to outdoor grass volleyball courts, and we are planning to add two beach courts this summer as well.

All meals are freshly prepared and delivered three times daily by Buck Lake Mercantile Cafe. Athletes will enjoy home-style, high-quality food throughout the week.

In addition to training, the facility includes:

• A game room with ping pong tables and mini basketball hoops

• Outdoor games and structured activities

• Team bonding opportunities in a supervised setting
   

We firmly believe this is the best value for an overnight volleyball camp in Alberta at $795 for 5 nights. Comparable residential camps, such as those organized by Volleyball Alberta in Sylvan Lake, are priced at $950.
