Eagles Volleyball Camp at Buck Lake

After 4 successful years of organizing overnight camps at Camp Caroline during the winter, which created lifelong memories and became the highlight of the club seasons, we are happy and blessed to announce that YYC Eagles club is starting our very own overnight summer camps in our own facility.

The camps will be held at Buck Lake Resort (202 Lakeshore Dr W, Buck Lake), located in Buck Lake Alberta. The resort lies on a large 3.5 acres lot, at Buck Lake, with all the rooms having a view of the lake, and a dining room with a capacity of 75 people and the hotel with 14 rooms(2-4 players/room). It is surrounded by beautiful green grass and fresh air, making for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

We as organizers realize that this might be a late announcement for this camp, and people have already made plans and scheduled vacations or already signed up for other camps, but if you haven't this a wonderful chance to do so.

We don't want to waste any opportunity and despite the challenge, we decided to start it this summer.

This is what we offer:
5 nights/6 days
Sundays 6:00-7:00pm arrival with dinner included in the same day.
Departure next Fridays after lunch 1:00-2:00pm.

Accommodation at Buck Lake Camp( 202 Lakeshore Dr , Buck Lake, T0C0T0) comfortable hotel rooms with 2 queen size beds and full equipped bathrooms in the rooms.

There will be delicious and nutritious food consisting of 3 nourishing meals and snacks, all delivered daily by the Buck Lake Mercantile restaurant.

2 practices a day, morning and afternoon sessions of 1.5/2 hours at Buck Mountain Central School (460050 Range Rd 61A Buck Lake AB T0C 0T0)
Practices are held on 1 or 2 courts, depending on the practice plans and age groups.

The practices will have 5-10 players maximum/court, focusing on a quality session with constant feedback and guidance, to maximize the chances to learn and improve for all the players attending.

Extra optional grass volleyball session available, if weather conditions are permitable.

Indoor extra recreational activities such as, ping pong, foosball, board games, cards, air hockey etc.

Outdoor extra activities such as spike ball, water guns, games and late night wood fires when possible.

The coaching staff is from the YYC EAGLES volleyball club and camp director/ coordinator/lead coach is Stefan Filip.

We will have national team players, university players and professional players as guest coaches during the summer.

Electronic devices will be limited for use.
Access to the lake for swimming or water activities this season will be prohibited due to liability issues.
Overnight supervision is provided.

We will run the camps 2 weeks this summer, with ages between u14-18.

Spots are limited to 32 players this starting season per week.
